According to the book ‘BTEC Introduction Business’, the marketing function involves identifying and satisfying customer needs and wants by carrying out market research and promoting new products. they do this by:
*Sending out questionnaires to customers.
*Organising direct mail campaigns
*organising advertising campaigns
*Coordinating special offers
